Students cross cultural boundaries in a fun and friendly way in order to be more culturally sensitive and globally aware.
"German students learn how to make American pancakes in school - how awesome is this?" exclaims an American student from Hohenfels during his visit to our school on Tuesday, March 7th. 17 American students and their teacher Glenn Roark gladly accepted Bilingual Geography teacher Veronika Northam's invitation to visit her 8th grade German class. The girls spent the morning touring their new American friends around the school exposing them to German classes such as Cooking and Arts and Crafts that are less familiar to most American students. After an extensive tour, the German and American students compared cultural differences and similarities while enjoying a Pizza Luncheon provided by the school. (V. Northam)
